We will never readjust any of your roommate’s bills to your account without first attempting to collect payment from them and contacting you before the adjustment. Unfortunately, every so often we are required to re-adjust bills for non-payment in order to receive the full payment for the amount of the bill. Our service provides several safeguards to this potential issue, including making several payments attempts with the payment listed on their account and notifications through emails and phone calls, and text messages.
Please note that your property may have an agreement with SimpleBills which means you won't be responsible for your roommate's balance.
