How do I close my account?

 

  • If you use SimpleBills through your property like the majority of our residents, your account will be considered closed after your final bill has been paid. If you find that you have been billed for usage outside of your lease dates, we can reach out to your property management on your behalf to confirm your end of service. Please keep in mind that residents are responsible for utility usage through the active lease term!
  • If you use SimpleBills on your own and utilities are in your name or in a roommate's name, we can collectively email you and your roommates to confirm your move out date. In order to cancel your account, you will need to contact us to let us know when you intend to end service. Following this, one of a couple of things may happen:
