If a payment on your checking account is returned as invalid, we always remove it from your account to prevent additional failed attempts. This is probably because the routing or account number was entered incorrectly. After the payment method is removed from your account, you can try to enter it again.
If a payment returns with non-sufficient funds (NSF), we allow you to try again with the same payment method. After a second payment returns NSF, we remove the checking account from your profile. In addition, we disable the option to continue paying with a checking account to prevent future failed payments.
