Why is my property charging me for utilities?

When a bill becomes past due, normally a late fee would be assessed. After the late fee is assessed, if there is still no payment made, there is an attempt to collect payment for the outstanding balance. If the late payment attempt is unsuccessful, the bills may be charged to the property as an unpaid utility portion. When this happens, the monthly fee and late fee remain on your SimpleBills account available for payment but the bill portions are sent to your property.
