Why is my bill higher than the property average for similar units?

If your unit's usage is higher than the property average, it means you are consuming more energy or water than the average person in a similar unit.

Perhaps you live in a four bedroom unit and are splitting bills between four people. Imagine there are several units at your property that are also four-bedroom, splitting utilities between four people. Compared to the average of their consumption, your meter showed more usage which is reflected on your bill.
